I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year, “Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.” And he replied, “Go into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God. That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way!” ~Minnie Louise Harkins (1875-1957)

When we put our hand into God’s hand and trust Him to lead the way, He usually leads us outside of our comfort zone. This has been true for Dr. Allan T. Sawyer.  Dr. Sawyer is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist missionary who serves with World Medical Mission, the medical arm of Samaritan’s Purse.  In this session from the 2018 M3 Conference, Dr. Sawyer leads us through a candid discussion sharing his personal experiences of serving outside his own comfort zone, and he challenges us to serve well beyond ours.
