Martin Rutahembya Nkundeki, MBChB, MBA
Dr. Martin joined the lead facility, Wentz Medical Center, at its opening in 2005 and over the last 17 years, he has guided this nonprofit mission clinic from donor dependence to 85% local revenue, seeing up to 100 patients a day and is set to break ground for its $4.5M expansion into a comprehensive community hospital in July 2023. In the last 12 years, 5 new clinics have also been established in various parts of rural Uganda. These clinics were established following high-impact medical missions in partnership with local churches and Africa Renewal.
Dr. Martin graduated with a Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from Makerere University (Kampala, Uganda 2004) and an MBA from East and Southern Africa Management Institute (Arusha, Tanzania 2016). Amid hospital expansion, medical missions, and a love for sampling foods from different cultures, he is pursuing a Master of Divinity with Fuller Theological Seminary.
He has been married to his wife, Rosettee, for 16 great years. Together, they have three sons. Dr. Martin is passionate about gospel centered medical ministry. He serves as the Movement Pastor at Gaba Community Church and has spoken at several churches across America inspiring health workers to serve God using their medical platform.
