Corné Blom
Corné Blom is the Vice President of International Programs for Mercy Ships. Corné joined the International Programs Department at the International Support Center in July 2018.
Prior to moving to Texas with his wife, Petra and their three children, Charlotte, Olivia, and Lukas, Corné served as the Hospital Director on the Africa Mercy. Corné and his family are from the Netherlands and joined Mercy Ships in 2013.
In his current position as VP of International Programs, Corné is responsible for the strategy, design and support of all programmatic activities in the different countries where Mercy Ships is active.
After Corné became a Dutch Nurse-Anesthetist, left the Royal Military Academy, and completed his Business Administration studies; he worked as an Operating Room Manager and Management Consultant in the Netherlands.
