Sasha Thew, BSN, MPH

Sasha Thew is an experienced ICU nurse and has worked in humanitarian and disaster response since 2016. Sasha holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing as well as a Masters in Public Health, Global Health. Sasha currently serves as an Emergency Medical Response Specialist for Samaritans Purse, focusing on creating and managing complex Emergency Field Hospital Designs and developing the Clinical Capacity necessary. She has worked in the medical sector of humanitarian and disaster response since 2016. She has led various initial health assessments and rapid program startups in complex medical emergencies, including infectious disease, conflict, refugee and migrant humanitarian emergencies. Sasha is passionate about providing quality and human centered care to populations with challenging access to healthcare around the world.
