Michele Groetzinger
RN, FNP-C, SANE-A, SANE-P

Michele Groetzinger is an Adjunct Nursing Professor at McLennan Community College, a Family Nurse Practitioner with Ascension Health Care and a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner.  She obtained her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and graduate degrees from Texas Sate and Texas A & M.  She joined the board of Mission Waco and began serving on short term mission trips in Haiti 10 years ago after viewing the devastation to this region from the 2010 earthquake.  Michele now travels with her nursing students to Haiti, Honduras, the Dominican Republic and Peru for short term teaching mission trips.

Also, Michele is co-founder of M&M Healthcare Consultants, a non-profit organization which brings educators, medical professionals, students, and lay people together in providing collaborative missionary healthcare to marginalized countries without access to basic care.

She continues to practice as nurse practitioner in Waco Texas where she lives with her husband and daughter.  Recently, her son, for his senior high school trip, raised funds for school supplies to support the children of Senegal.  It is her desire to work with nursing students and missions and find ways for the everyday person to work and serve in many capacities.
